Meeting Notes Generator

Drop in an audio recording and the browser transcribes it for you, or paste a transcript you already have. Either way you get organised minutes back: a summary, the decisions, and action items with owners where the meeting named them. Recordings are capped at 15 minutes to keep the tool free for everyone.

or paste a transcript

Recordings are capped at 15 minutes so the tool stays free for everyone. For a longer meeting, split the file or paste the transcript.

Your notes will appear here.

How it works

  1. 01 Drop in an audio file, or paste a transcript you already have.
  2. 02 Audio is decoded in your browser, converted to speech-friendly audio, and transcribed in short segments.
  3. 03 Check the transcript and fix any names the speech model misheard.
  4. 04 Pick full minutes, action items only, or an executive summary, then generate.

Getting usable notes out of a messy meeting

The quality of the notes depends almost entirely on the quality of the transcript you feed in.

Do

  • Record from one central microphone rather than a laptop across the room.
  • Say names out loud when assigning work, because the notes can only attribute what the meeting stated.
  • Fix misheard names and acronyms in the transcript before you generate.
  • Use Action items only when you just need the follow-ups for a tracker.
  • Split a long session into topic-sized recordings, which transcribe better than one long file.

Don't

  • Do not upload a recording of people who did not agree to being recorded.
  • Do not trust an action item you cannot find in the transcript.
  • Do not feed in a recording full of crosstalk and expect clean attribution.
  • Do not paste confidential material you would not send to a third-party AI provider.

Frequently asked questions

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, Opus, FLAC and most video containers. Your browser decodes the file, so anything it can play will work.

Transcription costs money on every call, and the tool is free with no account. A cap keeps one long upload from spending the budget everyone else shares. For a longer meeting, split the recording or paste a transcript instead.

The audio never gets uploaded as a file. Your browser decodes it, converts it to 16 kHz mono, and sends short segments for transcription. Nothing is stored on our side, and closing the tab discards everything.

Good on clear speech, weaker on names, acronyms and crosstalk. Read the transcript before you generate notes, because a misheard name propagates into the action items.

No. It returns a single transcript without speaker labels. If you need attribution, add the names yourself before generating notes, and the action items will pick them up.
